What a fantastic evening…!

Last Wednesday, the second of the month, a bunch of us ate Dee’s delicious creole stew and watched ‘Chocolat’ together. It was an evening of meeting new and old friends, laughing and putting the world to rights.

Thanks to Marta for all her hard work!

Please come and join us for the second film night:

10 Dec 6pm for food (£2) 7pm for free film

Chocolat (2000)  tells the story of a young mother, played by Juliette Binoche, who arrives at the fictional, repressed French village of Lansquenet-sous-Tannes with her six-year-old daughter and opens La Chocolaterie Maya, a small chocolaterie. Her chocolate quickly begins to change the lives of the townspeople.

The Film Club will take place the SECOND Wednesday of every month

So the next Film Clubs are

10 December 2014   ‘The Harder They Come’ (15) (1973)

and

14 January 2015!  Film to be announced

Who chooses the films?

YOU do!  Let us know what you would like to see…

Obviously it has to be family oriented and in English but aside from that its up to you!
